The Meiji-Jingu shrine is dedicated to the Emperor Meiji and his Empress Shoken. It was built in 1920 and 100,000 trees from all over Japan and the world were planted around the complex to create a forest. The shrine is located in Shibuya.
Visitors to the shrine can take part in Shinto rituals as well as make offerings at the main hall, purchasing charms and amulets or writing out a prayer or wish on an ema tablet.
Come with me as I show you a little of this Shinto Shrine and create a wishing prayer for everyone.
