Meditation is an essential part of developing your connection to spirit. It is also keeps your state of mind healthy by providing a stress relief, and strengthens your mind’s ability to focus. There have been so many studies of the miraculous cures and even physical health benefits of meditation. Spiritually, in many practices, meditation is the only way to attain enlightenment and in that process we all can experience a oneness with God.
Most intuitive and psychic development classes will have some kind of meditation practice in it because it is the best way to develop your connection to spirit.
Lisa K. teaches a few methods of meditation including methods for:
- Deep relaxation
- Energetic enhancement and cleansing
- Spiritual guidance
- Chakra clearing
- Developing your intuitive skills
- Centering and connecting with the oneness within
- Raising your energy vibration
- Calming your mind and helping you stay grounded, with more clarity of thought
Lisa K. has been practicing meditation for over 35 years. In 1975 she learned how to meditate. Subsequently she learned the Hindu and Buddhist forms of meditation. Lisa K. now develops guided meditations for a variety of purposes, from strengthening your intuition, developing your connection to the divine and becoming more aware of God within you. She also teaches advanced meditation to help you go deeper into meditation and reach the calm centeredness within. This practice of meditation gives you a stronger ability to detach, to stay centered, and remain calm when you are not meditating in any situation that may arise.
Lisa K.’s comments on meditation:
“Meditation is, technically, a mental exercise designed to promote relaxation, and enhance physical and emotional well-being. From a spiritual standpoint, many religions believe that meditation can lead us to God, and the Hindus say, “only in meditation can we see the inner Self directly.”
When I bring up meditation with people, especially those I’m teaching in a class, the first thing they say is, “I tried to meditate, but I can’t.” When I began meditating over 35 years ago, I went through a lot of frustration and confusion over my meditation. I wasn’t really quite sure what I was supposed to do, or not do. I heard things like, “Make your mind a blank.” or “You have to focus your mind.” I wasn’t quite sure what that meant, but I wanted to meditate because I knew there were amazing benefits to meditating, one of which was enlightenment. Now, who wouldn’t want that?
Over the years I’ve practiced different kinds of meditation, I first learned how to meditate in the 1970’s, and over the years learned other Hindu and Buddhist meditations, as well as guided meditations. I’ve gone from feeling nothing was happening in my meditation to having epiphanies in meditation that solved problems I couldn’t have solved otherwise. I struggled through years of not really knowing what I was supposed to do in meditation, but I kept at it and with some research, and I think I’ve figured it out. And yes, I too began with a phase of “I tried to meditate, but I can’t.”
There are many different kinds of meditation and you should find the type of meditation that works for you, as I did, but the difference this time, is I can give you some hints on what it is you’re trying to achieve in meditation and help you attain the benefits of meditation that you are looking for.”
Lisa conducts one on one meditation instruction sessions for those who want to learn how to meditate or need to improve their meditation practice. Sessions can be done over the phone, provided you have a hands free headset. In person sessions are available for those clients who Lisa K. has met in person before. 30 minute or 1 hour sessions are available.
